The University of Kashmir has released the Selection list for for candidates who want to pursue 4-year B.Tech programmes. The selection is based purely on the JEE scores obtained by the candidates. Here’s everything you need to know about the next steps and important guidelines for admission.
Kashmir University B Tech 2024 Admission Criteria
The admission of the selected candidates is subject to the fulfillment of several conditions:

1. Verification of Qualifying Examination and Category Certificate
- Important Date: All selected candidates must have passed their qualifying examination and hold a valid category certificate (if applicable) issued by or before June 27, 2024. The Directors of the respective campuses will ensure that these documents are verified against the original certificates.
2. Production of Original Documents
The candidates must produce the following original documents:
- Marks Card(s) of qualifying examinations
- Domicile certificate
- Character certificate
- Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)
- Provisional certificates from the last attended institution (if applicable)
- Valid JEE Score Card
3. Eligibility Verification
The concerned department will verify that the candidates meet the minimum required eligibility conditions for the B.Tech programmes.
4. NOC for In-Service Candidates
In-service candidates must produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from their respective departments.
5. Affidavit
Candidates must submit an affidavit sworn in before a 1st Class Magistrate, stating the following:
- They are not enrolled in any other institution.
- All submitted certificates/documents are genuine.
- They will adhere strictly to the university’s rules and regulations.
- They understand that any misinformation, concealment of information, indiscipline, or submission of non-genuine/incomplete documents will result in the cancellation of their admission and possible legal action.
- The affidavit is submitted voluntarily, without any pressure, compulsion, fraud, or coercion.
How to Complete the Admission Process?
The provisionally selected candidates need to follow these steps:
- Download the Admission Form: Visit the official website of the University of Kashmir at www.kashmiruniversity.net.
- Document Verification: Before depositing the admission fee, candidates must approach the Director of the concerned campus with all original certificates and self-attested photocopies.
- Admission Formalities: Complete the admission formalities between July 11, 2024, and July 22, 2024.
- Admission Fee Payment: Once the documents are verified, and the formalities are completed, proceed with the payment of the admission fee.
