The Government of Jammu and Kashmir has recently announced the appointment of candidates to the Junior Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, J&K Police (Gazetted) Service, and J&K Accounts (Gazetted) Service under the direct recruitment quota through the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) of 2022. This significant development follows the recommendations of the Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) and is encapsulated in Government Order No. 1395-JK(GAD) of 2024, dated July 23, 2024.
Mr. Mohd Abrar, son of Mohd Mushtag, residing at 120 Kud Chenani, District Udhampur (PIN 182142), has been appointed under the Economically Weaker Section (EWS) category. He will serve in the Junior Scale of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service at pay level-8 (47600-151100) with immediate effect.
The newly appointed candidate will be on probation for a period of two years. During this time, he must undergo specific training and pass the Departmental Examination as prescribed by the relevant rules. This probationary period is crucial for ensuring that the appointee is well-prepared for the responsibilities of his new role.
Mr. Mohd Abrar is required to report to the Additional Secretary to the Government, General Administration Department. He will only be allowed to join his new position upon producing the following original certificates:
- Qualification Certificate
- Date of Birth Certificate
- Domicile Certificate
- Relevant Category Certificate
- Any other certificate required under the rules
Failure to join within 21 days from the date of issuance of the appointment order will result in the cancellation of his appointment without further notice.
The salary of the appointee will be disbursed only after satisfactory verification of his Qualification, Date of Birth, and Relevant Category Certificates. An affidavit, as per Annexure-I of the order, must also be submitted. If any certificate is found to be invalid or not genuine, the appointment will be canceled automatically without further notice.
