The JKSSB conducted the written examination for the posts of Junior Engineer (Mechanical) on 1st October 2023. The results and score-sheets of the candidates were subsequently released. Based on the performance in this examination, a final selection list was created and approved in the 253rd Board Meeting on 10th January 2024.
Following this, a waiting list was prepared considering the merit of the candidates. This waiting list was approved in the 269th Board Meeting. The preparation of this waiting list was revived and facilitated by the provisions of S.O. 134 and S.O. 137, dated 28th February 2024, which allowed the recruiting agencies to draw up waiting lists as a one-time exemption within six months of the selection list issuance.
