The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has released Notification No. 025-BOPEE of 2024 dated 21-05-2024, inviting online applications for admission to various 12th-based Paramedical Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024. These courses include X-ray Technician, Dental Assistant, ECG Technician, Medical/Pharma Assistant, Laboratory Assistant, and Medical Record Technician (MRT).
Important Dates and Application Procedure
- Start Date for Online Applications: 25-05-2024
- Last Date for Online Applications: 08-06-2024 (Midnight)
- Application Fee: Rs. 1000 (to be paid online via National Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking)
- Common Entrance Test Date: Tentatively on 23-06-2024
JKBOPEE 12th Based Paramedical Eligibility Criteria
For Paramedical Diplomas:
- Domicile: Must be a domicile of UT of J&K or UT of Ladakh (ST certificate for Ladakh candidates).
- Age Limit: Must not exceed 35 years as on 01-01-2024.
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed 10+2 or equivalent with PCB/PCM and English with at least 40% marks (35% for Reserved Categories).
- Passed 10+2 with English and 40% marks in Vocational ANM course from recognized schools or vocational stream in Health Care Science.
- Registered ANM with pass marks.
- Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit.

For Medical Record Technician (MRT) Course (SKIMS Only):
- Domicile: Same as for Paramedical Diplomas.
- Age Limit: 17 to 28 years as on 31-12-2024.
- Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 or equivalent in any stream with minimum 50% marks (40% for Reserved Categories).
- Medical Fitness: Must be medically fit.

- Domicile Certificate
- 12th Class Marks Certificate (if declared)
- Date of Birth Certificate (Matriculation Certificate)
- Valid Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)

JKBOPEE Examination and Admission Details
- The Common Entrance Test will be conducted offline at designated centers in Jammu and Srinagar.
- The syllabus and other details are available in the e-Information Brochure on the JKBOPEE website.
- The admit cards will be available for download as notified by the Board.
