The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) has announced the first round of physical counselling for admission to 12th-Based Paramedical Diploma Courses for the academic session 2024. This counselling will cover various Government and Private Colleges/Institutions across the Union Territories (UTs) of J&K and Ladakh. The notification regarding the counselling was released through Notification No. 075-BOPEE of 2024 dated 17-08-2024.
JKBOPEE 12th Based Paramedical Courses Counselling 2024
The JKBOPEE 12th-Based Paramedical Diploma Courses Counselling 2024 is an admission process for candidates who have successfully qualified the Paramedical Courses entrance test. The counselling will be conducted for admission to various paramedical diploma programs in both Government and Private institutions. This process allows candidates to secure seats based on their merit and preferences in disciplines such as Medical Lab Technology (MLT), Radiography, and more.
JKBOPEE Counselling Schedule
The first round of physical counselling will be conducted simultaneously at the BOPEE offices in Jammu and Srinagar. The schedule for the counselling is divided according to the rank of the candidates, and it is important for all applicants to attend on their assigned dates to avoid missing out on the seat allotment.

What Do Candidates Need to Bring for the Counselling?
For a smooth and successful counselling session, it is essential that candidates bring the necessary documents. These documents will be verified before seat allotment. Here is a list of documents required during the counselling:
- Domicile Certificate: Issued by a competent authority.
- Class 12 Marksheet: Proof of academic qualification.
- Category Certificate: If applicable, candidates need to submit their reserved category certificates.
- Counselling Fee: Payment, if required, as per the Board’s guidelines.
- Authority Letter: In case a candidate cannot attend the counselling in person, they must send a family member with an authority letter (in a prescribed format).
Key Points for Candidates to Note:
- Registration and Attendance: Candidates must report physically to the BOPEE offices in Jammu/Srinagar between 8:30 am to 10:00 am on their scheduled counselling dates for registration and attendance.
- Seat Allotment: The allocation of seats (Discipline/Institution) will be carried out as per the merit rank, and all available seats will be allotted based on preference and availability.
- Missing Counselling: If a candidate misses their designated day of counselling, they will be allowed to participate on the next day. However, they cannot claim a seat that has already been allotted to another candidate with a lower rank.
- Provisional Selection List: After the conclusion of the counselling, JKBOPEE will release a provisional selection list. This list will include details like the candidate’s name, gender, category, institution, and the discipline they’ve been allotted.
